Reducing unnecessary risks

For many of us, much of the stress associated with COVID-19 comes from the very real risk of contracting it. Due to the highly contagious nature of the virus, there is no shortage of circumstances in which people can become infected. Fortunately, there are a number of simple ways we can effectively reduce the risk of infection. In addition to masking and putting on various PPE when leaving the house, avoid visiting or refusing to enforce any facilities that do not have masking rules. Second, be careful not to interact with unmasked people – and stay at least six feet away when interacting with people outside your immediate household. When you’re stuck indoors for a good part of the year, the temptation to indulge in the cravings for junk food can be overwhelming. While occasional indulgence is acceptable, eating a healthy diet can improve your physical health, general outlook, and stress management skills.
